The Mother
By Bertolt BrechtThe Mother was produced by The Irondale Ensemble, Off-Broadway at the Theater For The New City. The ensemble incorporated music into the show and to add to it's Vaudevillian style added J. Edgar Hoover to the cast and the other men dressed as women.
I drifted from the standard all white Brechtian style and added extreme color to enhance the moods of the characters.
